Own a pony day – Pony care
A morning filled with fun and learning new skills. A great way for both existing customers and new ones to build their confidence, increase your knowledge and make friends!
What our Own a pony day includes:
· Learn how to catch, groom and tack up your pony
· 1hr Riding
· 1hr Stable management session
· Complete tasks and play games whilst learning how to look after your pony
· Make friends and get involved with working as a part of a team
· Hats are available free of charge
Own a pony day – Showjumping special
Join us this May half term for our new Own a pony day – Showjumping special. This session is suitable for both our more experienced riders and also for those who are only beginner. A fun day out learning about the rules of show jumping, designing a course and even having a go at jumping the course yourselves!
*Riders with little or no experience are welcome to join in and will complete the course with guidance from a leader and poles very low to the ground*
What our pony day – Showjumping special includes:
· Learn how to catch, groom and tack up your pony
· Design and set up a showjumping course
· Learn about course walks, turns, lines and the rules of showjumping.
· Riding lesson learning about straightness, turns and the jump position.
· Mini show jumping competition within your group.
· Placing rosettes
· Hats are available free of charge
Our friendly staff make our pony days fun and enjoyable sessions for all abilities. Riders must be a minimum age 4 to take part. Parents are not required to stay but are more than welcome to come along and get involved too!
What will I need?
· Snack and a drink
· Suitable clothing for wet and cold weather
· Boots with a small heel on (wellies are ideal)
